lots of thinking to do

Spring break starts for me on Thursday and I can't wait to just relax. Ive been doing a lot of thinking about school, and after I graduate I may look into nursing, I'm kind of excited about it and have lots to look into and figure out, but I'll get there! OU offers a 14 month fast track program for people who already hold a degree..which I will after next May..so who knows, I'm just horrible at making major decisions....
I keep going to the mall and seeing lots of fun things I want, but I'm trying to save money haha soo it doesn't really work. I have a list of things I want to buy while I'm home, hopefully a pair of jeans and some cute summer shorts or dresses.

So I was looking at Lauren's blog and she just got an iphone and my other friend just got one too..they are really neat and my contract is up this summer so I get to get a new phone and I'm thinking I want an iphone..I just think the monthly payments are kind of high and since I'll be paying my phone bill I'm just not sure

I plan on being productive today: clean, workout, do some school work, and run some errands, then a meeting tonight at 8 and after just relaxing

Can it be spring break yet?

I'm ready for spring break, school is getting really repetitive and it seems like it gets harder to sit through class and focus, especially when the two classes I sit through the professor just reads from notes or powerpoints which we already have. I started my observations in the clinic yesterday and saw an audiologist work with two patients that were from some sort of home, they had evident mental disabilities which was interesting to see. It was a little boring though just watching hearing tests and screenings, I am more excited about my observations with an SLP, I think I am too much of a people person to go with audiology. I can't wait for spring break and catching up with friends and just relaxing, it's just a week but it will be nice. Only 9 more days!

And I have some pictures to post of this past weekend, my roomate and I had a girls night with sushi and drinks..maybe a little too many drinks..but it was fun!

fresh flowers make everything better

Tuesdays I don't have class and today I was actually pretty productive. I woke up and went to work from 9-1 then worked out from about 2-3, I am trying to keep up a regular routine of going to the gym but it seems so hard when my schedule is always changing. I start obsverations in the clinic for audiology and speech pathology next week which will make me a million times more busy it feels like. I can't believe it is almost March! Wow does time fly..I wil be out for summer in less than 3 months and it still feels like the year just started.
I have two tests tomorrow that I have been studying for, but I feel like I haven't really killed myself studying for them, I think I burned myself out last semester and now I just feel like I don't try as hard. Maybe it is just an easier semester, but I am enjoying spending my time not just on school which I think I did for too long last semester. So this semester I am settling for good grades, they don't have to be perfect and having more down time. On a side note though, I think I care way too much about my grades because I am so worried about getting into the graduate school I want to go to, I'll apply next year which is so crazy!
This weekend I am attempting to make some fun things for my apartment, ideas I got from my sister's blog and I can't wait! I love making the apartment all cute, one thing I think I am going to keep up is buying fresh flowers to put in a vase. I bought some amazing yellow roses just because this weekend and put them in a vase on my coffee table and it just makes me smile every time I walk into my apartment. My friend gave me the idea, she and her roomates always keep fresh flowers on their table, so my roomate and I are going to start the same tradition. I suggest anyone try it for a week, I promise it will brighten your day.
Back to studying...one more read through of this stuff and then I'm done for the night

Bored....

Today I have class and am pretty bored on the break in between. I'm getting really excited for the rest of the semester, spring break is coming up and I plan on spending a majority of it in Plano. After that my friends and I are planning a camping trip since I have yet to go since being up at school. Should be lots of fun.

I just read my sister's blog and she made the cutest curtains...I want to make some for my living room in my apartment, my roomate and I have some already but they are just cheap ones from Walmart. I need a craft project to start on, either curtains or something for the walls.

I have two tests Wednesday but after that things will pretty slow, I'm loving the free time I get this semester, but I know things will start picking up.
